The new BioWare MMO is a great hit. It has even been dubbed as the most expensive game ever made. Many gamers have been pining for it at the very start and are now simply raving about the game. But of course, it is not a perfect game. Even Star Wars – The Old Republic has issues to be dealt with and BioWare is working on them.

SWTOR has low frame rate issues, at least in the case of some of its players. BioWare, thankfully, is aware of this. So, it is currently working towards a permanent solution and not just a patch and then remove one. The good thing about complaining about something is that you get to be heard. This is what happened with the SWTOR fans. They complained and BioWare was luckily listening. BioWare is handing out a short-term fix while they work to get rid of the bug for good.
BioWare promises more details on the bug-killing agenda. At the moment, however, the studio is recommending the closing of background applications and the turning down of graphic settings. Other recommendations are changing settings to give performance preference over visuals and updating drivers. If you are experiencing the problem, another consideration is turning off “bloom” in the graphics options. Just keep in mind, do not worry, there are always the solutions for you.

The mentioned recommended fixes are temporary, of course, but at least they can alleviate the frame rate problem for now.
